The scope of the METRONext program is the planning, development, and execution of a $7.2 billion transportation expansion initiative for the Houston region. The objective is to enhance and expand the Houston region’s urban infrastructure to better serve the transportation needs of its growing population, which is expected to exceed 10 million citizens by 2040.
